We require 24 hours to cancel and/or reschedule.  We have patients waiting to be seen and a missed appointment takes time away from those looking to receive care. After your 1st no-show, its a $50 no-show fee.

    Do You Work With Children?

Yes, Dr St Jean works with children.  As a father, he has a special interest in helping kids overcome health issues and thrive in their day-to-day lives.  While he maintains specialty training in the realm of sports, nutrition, and neurodevelopmental disorders for toddlers and up, he does not have training in infant care.  If you have an infant who needs chiropractic care, he will refer you to a local pediatric chiropractor with advanced board training pertitent to this population.

Which Treatment Is Best For Me?

The short answer is your treatment is up to you! Everything is fully customizable.

Dr. St Jean will perform a comprehensive workup on you and provide you with recommendations that he feels will help you accomplish your health goals with minimal treatment time and fiscal burden.  With that said, he leaves it up to you to choose which combination of services is best for you.

If you want to include functional medicine and clinical nutrition, he will include those into your care plan or if you prefer chiropratcic only, you can do this as well.

Are All New Patients Required To Get X-Rays?

No, especially not patients under 18.  Where X-rays become important is in traumatic presentations or for patients looking to undergo corrective chiropractic care. Corrective chiropractic care, once the patient is out of pain, builds a plan to keep the patient out of pain long-term.  To determine care volume and duration, X-rays provide extremely valuable information in this regard.

    What To Wear To Appointments?

We can work around most attire. However, what you wear to the gym is often an ideal outfit for chiropractic care. If you are undergoing clinical nutrition or functional medicine treatments, this recommendation doesn’t apply.

    What Insurance Do You Accept?

    Chiropractic/Rehab/Sports Med:

    • BCBS
    • Aetna
    • Harvard Pilgrim*
    • Mass General Brigham*
    • United*
    • * = pending in-network status

    Functional Med & Nutrition:

Unfortunately, these services are not covered by insurance.  However, you can get started with them via a free consult.  You can schedule by visiting our Functional Medicine partner websites listed above.

How Do I Know My Coverage?

Although our biller will verify your coverage, we strongly encourage you to call your insurance company and ask for a printed copy of your benefits for reference.  We do our best to estimate based on what your insurance company shares with us.  Knowing your insurance plan and what is covered is every patient’s responsibility.

    Copay vs Co-Insurance?

Often times your insurance plan requires you to pay a copay or coinsurance. A copay is typically a fixed amount ($10, $20, etc.).  A co-insurance is typically a percentage (10%, 20%, etc.).  This is an out of pocket cost your insurance requires you to pay for them to cover your care.

    What Is A Deductible?

A deductible is a certain amount of money you have to pay before your insurance pays for any of your care.  Individual plans vary in the amount and when this deductible is applied.  For example, you may have a deductible to meet before insurance pays for chiropractic, but it might not apply to your annual PCP checkup.

What Is The Self-Pay New Patient Fee?

We  charge $179 for a new patient who is paying out of pocket to be seen at our facility.

What Is The Self-Pay Treatment Fee?

For ongoing treatment, its only $75/session.  Again, we want to make chiropractic care accessible to Andover, MA and surrounding communities.
